The Cliff Drysdale Tennis program at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation offers the “Ultimate Tennis Experience” in one of the worlds truly amazing locations to play tennis. Located under a canopy of ancient oaks, Racquet Park has  23 Har-Tru® fast-dry clay courts, three of which are lighted for night play.

Their programs operate year round and cater to a full spectrum of players, from individuals and couples to families and teams or groups. Guests of the Omni Amelia Island can come to the Racket Park and play tennis daily either by reserving a court or by taking the various tennis clinics the facility offers from 9-11 AM every day.  Don’t feel scared of taking a clinic just by your ability. The pros here are awesome and very motivating.  They immediately size up your ability and put you on a court with like minded ability players.  Each clinic runs an hour and focuses on different strokes and strategies. You can take both clinics or just one a day. You decide. $25 per clinic is a good deal.  My husband and I are of differing skill levels; we were put on separate courts side by side and we both enjoyed ourselves. We have been to this facility the past 4 years and really enjoy it.

The facility is all encompassing.  Adult tennis camps, ladies retreats, doubles boot camps, social leagues, stay and play packages and junior summer tennis camps are all available. They have a full service pro shop at the facility and can string rackets or offer loaners for those that did not travel with their equipment.

The facility is beautiful. 23 Har-tru courts, 3 of which are lighted for night play. Most days the weather is in the 70’s; ideal for tennis.
