What’s not to love about a visit to Cape Cod?  So many wonderful towns to visit, a lifestyle on the water, cooler temperatures, saltbox houses, homemade ice cream and beautiful weather.  Recently we had the opportunity to visit the Cape in Harwich, Mass, just next door to Chatham.  We spent a day shopping in Chatham on Main Street.  Here’s a quick update on some fun things to do in Chatham during your visit.

MERMAIDS ON MAIN  | 410 MAIN STREET | CHATHAM, MASSACHUSETTS 02633

Located almost to the end of Main Street, is a small gift shop called Mermaids on Main.  A fantastic gift store carrying everything from tunics, earrings, jewelry, artwork, baby gifts, home decor and fragrances, all centered around mermaids or sea life.  Cost effective and pretty, definitely worth a visit and walk further down the shopping district.

CHATHAM SQUIRE TAVERN | 487 MAIN STREET | CHATHAM, MA 02633

Chatham’s family restaurant with a multi-cultural menu and an entertaining cast that includes both the crew and the customers, the Chatham Squire is the place everyone looks for when they visit Chatham, MA, on Cape Cod. A side pub offers music, trivia and a great vibe. Worth a stop for Chowder and a fun cocktail.

Yankee Ingenuity is a gallery and gift shop on Cape Cod, in the beautiful seaside village of Chatham, about a half mile from the Atlantic Ocean.
